trouble shooting!

If your run into problems working with your calculators, there are a few different things which may be happening:

1. You may have stat plot on when you do not need it. You can check by looking above the "y=" and seeing if "plot 1" is selected. If it is, deselect it.

2. You may have some applications (such as inequalities or transform) which are ON. This will affect your ability to graph. You can do this by opening either of the applications (use the APPS button and look for the name of the program) and then quitting out of them.

3. Something which you just can't figure out. This would require you to reset your RAM which you do by going to "memory," then "reset," then "all ram," and finally #2. Please recognize that this is a last resort.

Please discuss with one and other if you run into problems with your calculator. Remember, you have peers in the other math class who are also capable of helping you out. They've had quite a few caclulator issues :)

On the quiz today i was wondering if a variable counts as a term, or do only multiplication and division count as terms.

ex: 5x+5
>I know 5x counts as a term but does 5?

#6 is like one of the activities from section 1.5. Can you tell which one?

There will be no break tomorrow, since we will be on a Monday schedule. Try to stop by before advisory or during lunch/recess.
