you all keep me young

I am making a concerted effort to post more regularly on the blog. I encourage you all to follow suite.

Today we explored the development of number puzzles. I know that some of you initially struggled with this challenge, while others of you found fairly quick success. If creating number puzzles puzzles you, do not give up! Consider the type of relationships in math, and how these relationships apply to actual values. You will be required to create a number puzzle of 7+ steps over the course of the coming week (outside of class) for your classmates to try. If you are interested in discussing strategies, look to both me and your peers. Your peers are a valuable resource!

Also, it is very important to have a working understanding of the distributive property, like terms, and factoring. If you are not comfortable with these concepts, you will have difficulty with future lessons. Please come schedule a time to meet with me to discuss your most recent quiz!
